Side chain with chain stop (standard)

This is the most common control type for today's modern roller blinds. The chain must be at least 60% of the total height of the blind in order for it to be operational.

For very tall windows, the chain will need to be quite long, and it must not be shortened. If you want a shorter chain, you should instead choose the variant called "endless chain" that has no joint.

The advantage of this chain is that one can usually have a "stop bead" which ensures the fabric is not over roller when raised and lowered which can cause damage to the fabric.

Side chain without chain stop ("endless chain")

This control type uses a chain without joints, which makes it possible to minimize the chain's length as it will "loop around" the mechanism.

This is espacially handy for tall blinds, where you might want to limit the lenght of the chain.

The disadvantage of this chain is the lack of a "stop bead", which has the task of limiting the downward and upward rolling. This can result in the blind accidentally being rolled down too far down if one is not careful, which might damage the blind.

Spring operated blinds - hand grip

In this design, the blind is controled with a spring tensioned clutch mechanism. It can be lowered by simply pulling on a aluminum strip at the bottom of the blind.

Many people prefer this solution, because you avoid strings that hang in the middle of the window when the blinds is rolled up. However, the window can't be too tall, as you need to be able to reach the bottom hem.

For tall windows, we recommend a design with a centrally fixed cord. This way you can easily reach the slider in a raised position.

Cord

A cord mechanism is fixed with screws to the rollerblind's aulminum bottom bar.

Tall windows, with roller blinds can easily be operated with long string cords.

Metal handle

If you're looking for something sturdier than a cord control, handles in white lacquered steel give a firm grip when you operate the blind.

It is possible to add a handle to our rails, and it is also easily removed.

Tall windows with blinds that are difficult to reach, can be operated thanks to the mounted handle and the help of eg. extension stick with a hook.

Tension hooks

In some situations, you may want the curtain's fabric to be stretched, and held into place, at all times. (For example, a roller blind that sits directly on a door that opens and closes frequently).

This can easily be achieved by choosing one of our spring mechanism designs together with a pair of hooks that you install underneath the window.

With reciever

We use silent engines from French SOMFY and German ELERO, as well as our own imported TORRO engines (with very favorable prices).

The motors are available with different rolling speeds and different strengths to fit both smaller and larger (and heavier) roller blinds.

To control larger blinds electrically, a more powerful motor is required. For this reason, we use AC motors for our larger blinds.

Built-in radio receivers (RTS) are also available as an option. This means that the installation is very simple: connect the cord to the nearest power outlet and then just operate the motor with a suitable remote control.

Without reciever

We can supply blinds equipped with built-in motor but without receivers. 

Such a solution is suitable for those who already have their own control system and want to connect different products to it.

A motor of this type is controlled via Fas-control.
