Please make sure to unpack and inspect your goods immediately upon receipt of the delivery. This should be done regardless of whether the package appears damaged or not upon arrival.
Mandatory Delivery Inspection upon Receipt
Sometimes, "hidden damages" can occur during transport that are not always visible on the outside of the package. Notify us as soon as possible and no later than within 7 days if you discover any damage caused during transport. According to current transport terms, all damages must be reported to the shipping company as soon as possible and no later than 7 days after receipt. If this is not done, the burden of proof that the damage occurred during transport falls on the claimant.
In practice, this means that it is not possible to receive compensation for any damage if it is not reported within 7 days of the delivery date. Therefore, please inspect your goods immediately upon delivery.
If the package is left uninspected at the recipient's location for a long time, it becomes difficult to prove afterward that the damage occurred during transport. It is not uncommon for the package to have been damaged at the recipient's location after delivery.
